[Eng ver] All about VNG18 Starverse

Referring to NFT, many Starters may still feel surprised. Starverse was born so that Starter could get acquainted with the new concept of NFT as well as enjoy the jubilant atmosphere to celebrate VNG18’s birthday.

Starverse is “roughly” a virtual space where Starters interact with each other and overcome interesting challenges on the NFT Platform to receive many attractive prizes.

I. Minigame Amazing Words
Amazing Words is a word matching minigame. Starter will collect different NFT Avatars containing letters to form meaningful sentences/words/phrases set by the program or Starter’s non-numeric domain name and receive rewards at the website https://18.vng.com.vn.

1. Event time: 10h00 (GMT+7) August 31st – 12h00 (GMT+7) September 9th.

3. Prize
– First Prize (3 prizes): 30,000 STAR/prize when Starter can match all the sentences
Happy Birthday VNG18
– Second Prize (10 prizes): 10,000 STAR/prize when Starter can match all the phrases
Technology champion of Vietnam
– Third Prize (30 prizes): 5,000 STAR/prize when Starter can match all of the 3 phrases

II. Minigame Amazing Race
Amazing Race is a casual racing game. Starter will use 1 NFT Avatar in his wallet to participate in the race and accumulate points through different levels. Starter will receive STAR bonus based on the ranking at the end of the game.

1. Event time: From 5th – 7th September starting from 10h00 to 18h00 everyday (GMT+7).
2. Rewarding time: 21h00 September 7th 2022.

4. Prize
– Main Prize: Based on the total accumulated points according to the ranking, Top 104 Starters have a chance to receive the following number of STAR:
01 First Prize: 12,300 STAR/prize (Rank: 1)
02 Second Prizes: 6,000 STAR/prize (Rank: 2, 3)
03 Third Prizes: 3,000 STAR/prize (Rank: 4 – 6)
06 Fourth Prizes: 1,400 STAR/prize (Rank: 7 – 12)
41 Fifth Prizes: 800 STAR/prize (Rank: 13 – 53)
51 Sixth Prizes: 500 STAR/prize (Rank: 54 – 104)
Consolation Prize:
– In case there are less than 300 Starters eligible to win the Consolation prize (Starter from rank 105 to rank 403), each Starter will receive 200 STAR for a Consolation prize.
– In the event that more than 300 Starters are eligible to win a Consolation prize (with a total of more than 403 ranks), the number of STAR of the Consolation prize is calculated by the allocated budget (100,000 STAR) plus the total number of STAR accumulated by purchasing the turn to play the game of Starters divided equally by the number of remaining Starters.

III. Collect STAR – Exchange prize
STAR: token used in transactions on YoVerse Wallet during VNG18 Starverse event.1. Bid item
Starter can use STAR to auction VNG18 items or high value items on YoVerse Market to exchange for real items after the event ends.
– VNG18 items: will be allotted in a split 50% will bid time out and 50% will allow the last bid (high price).

– High value items: all items will be timed auction

Items after successful auction will be owned by Starter as NFT items and will be exchanged for real items after the event ends. Details on how to bid Starter can be found at YoVerse – Guidelines.

2. Donate to UpRace fund
Starter can donate to UpRace fund by entering the number of STARs you want to donate in Donate to UpRace fund.
The total amount of UpRace fund will correspond to the total amount of STARs from following sources:
– STAR numbers are deducted when Starter buys a new NFT Box from the system (20 STAR are donated for each purchased NFT Box)
– STAR numbers from SMT NFT auctions.
– STAR numbers are used by Starter for direct donations.
– STAR conversion principle
Donated STAR will be transferred to UpRace fund according to the following principles:
– Each STAR donated on the system will be equivalent to 1,000 VND (one thousand VND).
– Whenever the number of STARs exceeds the milestone (including the milestones of 250,000; 500,000; 750,000; 1,000,000), the number of STARs at this milestone will be converted and given to the UpRace fund. Thus, for every 250,000 STAR milestone achieved, VND 250,000,000 (two hundred and fifty million dong) will be given to the UpRace fund. For example, if the number of STARs donated is 400,000 STAR, only 250 million VND will be given to the UpRace fund.
– The maximum budget for charity is VND 1,000,000,000 (one billion VND) and will stop at this level even if the number of STAR raised exceeds 1,000,000 STAR (one million STAR).
*Note: Starter can save STAR in your wallet for future uses in upcoming VNG events.
