VNG takes part in Vietnam GameVerse 2023 to strengthen its commitment to developing the gaming industry

The Vietnam GameVerse 2023 event taking place on April 1 and 2, attracted several game companies, local and international partners, and thousands of young game lovers. At the event, VNG extended a variety of engaging activities, with prizes’ value up to 500 million VND.

Vietnam GameVerse 2023 saw the participation of over 20 companies and 20,000 visitors. During the event, VNGGames showcased many of its legendary products that contributed to the company’s reputation such as Vo Lam Truyen Ky, Revelation, VALORANT, Gunny Origin, Play Together VNG, Thien Long Bat Bo 2, ZingPlay entertainment portal, and the upcoming game Metal Slug: Awakening. Nearly 7,000 gifts, with a total worth of 500 million VND, were given away through various mini-games such as quizzes, crosswords, live game show matches, check-ins with famous gamers.

Besides gaming exhibition, Vietnam GameVerse 2023 also offered Vietnam Game Forum to game enterprises and leading experts in the industry sharing their views on trends and industry. “This nascent field offers rooms for growth to both game publishers and developers. This event marks the major milestone to nudge the gaming industry realizing its full potential and contribute to the digital economy.” – La Xuan Thang, Group Manager, Head of Game Studio 3, VNG emphasized.

Having started with Vo Lam Truyen Ky – the first role-play game (RPG) in Vietnam, VNGGames has launched hundreds of games, serving millions of users in 130 countries. The company now has eight studios in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Beijing, Jakarta, Manila, and Kuala Lumpur. In April 2023, the Taipei’s studio will officially operate, contributing to the goal of introducing Vietnam’s games to the world.
