VNG receives certification from the global authority on workplace culture Great Place to Work® (GPTW)

With 92% positive employee reviews, VNG proves its efforts to own an international standard working environment and culture through the Great Place to Work certificate.

GPTW is the global authority on workplace culture, founded in 1990 in America. The organization evaluates the Great Workplace For All™ based on five criteria: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie. At VNG, the survey was conducted on more than 4047 employees, with a response rate of 73%. With 92% positive reviews, far exceeding the global average of 53% (*), VNG was awarded the Great Place to Work certification, along with major global enterprises such as Adobe, and DHL Express.

VNG builds a healthy working environment so that employees can grow sustainably

Certification is the result of VNG’s continuous efforts to invest in people. Internally, employees are enabled to constantly improve their skills through online courses on Coursera, Udemy, coaching, mentoring programs with a total of 23,000 hours of training. Mr. Nguyen Duy Thin, an employee of VNG, said: “I find myself lucky to have been working here. My colleagues are both friends and mentors. As a company that develops products serving millions of people, each employee is facilitated to improve professional training. Besides, participating in sports activities held by the company such as gym, football competition, or the community race UpRace has helped me improve my health and bridge the gap between colleagues.”

In parallel, VNG also focuses on talent acquisition activities by implementing 60 different projects, which reached more than 9,000 students in 2022. Some of the notable projects are the Code Tour programming contest, and VNG University Week cooperating with 36 partners across the country. Nguyen Cong, a student at the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, shared: “I had the opportunity to visit the VNG office through the VNG University Week program. I am impressed with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere here, as well as the modern facilities. Everyone is encouraged to raise their voice, and think outside of the box. This is what I look for when seeking a workplace.”
