UPRACE 2022 ACHIEVES 3,6 MILLION KM

Officially launched on 28th Oct 2022, UpRace 2022 has had 340,000 participants from 63 provinces in Vietnam and 10 foreign countries, with a total of 3,6 million kilometers recorded.

The most enthusiastic participation is seen in Ho Chi Minh City, Central Vietnam, and the Hanoi capital. Proudly, the “UpRace footprint” is also found in 10 foreign countries including the UK, France, USA, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore.

Lasting until the end of 20th Oct 2022, UpRace 2022 sets the aim to conquer 6 million km, equivalent to 6 billion VND donated to two community organizations: the Association in support of Vietnamese handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO), and Save Vietnam’s Wildlife (SVW). Having conquered 3,6 million km on 13th Nov, UpRace has successfully achieved roughly half of the set goal.

Two offline running events, UpRace Day, held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 30th and Hanoi on November 6th attracted nearly 2,000 participants. UpRace Day in Ho Chi Minh also marks the first time introducing the 21 km distance (half marathon).

UpRace’s achievement is expected to make a further breakthrough on the last Double Sunday 20/11 when the runner’s running record is doubled.
